Primarily influenced by African and African-American music, this duo identify themselves with a contemporary concept of spirituality, where electronica meets the essence of Africa, synthesizers and organic elements for a singular result. Producer Darrell has Egyptian roots and a long career researching African music, and he's part of the band Pyramid Blue; he creates enveloping atmospheres and offers a varying combination of sounds. Juno, a singer of Guinean origin who has worked with artists such as Gecko Turner, connects the deepest rhythms and experiments with the possibilities of the voice as an instrument.
