Paul Carrack

The BBC has said of icon of blue-eyed soul Paul Carrack that he has a golden voice, and other critics have compared him with Phil Collins and Elton John, in a good way. The 65-year-old founder and singer of Mike & The Mechanics and former member of Roxy Music has released an impressive 17 solo albums, the latest being 'Soul Shadows' (2016). In the 1970s he'd already enjoyed big hits, such as 'How Long', with his first group, Ace.
