Time Out says

Home brings together two of Manchester’s finest, Cornerhouse and The Library Theatre

Take two well-established cultural stalwarts, Cornerhouse and the Library Theatre, throw in around £25 million and mix well. Sound like a tasty treat? Well, when one of these organisations was renowned for its contemporary take on visual arts and its independent and foreign language cinema, and the other for Alan Ayckbourn revivals, what could go wrong?

Answer: nothing. The result is Home, an ambitious arts centre for Manchester that opened in 2015, and it’s brilliant. The space contains two performance spaces (one 500-capacity theatre, plus 150-seat studio), five cinema screens, expansive gallery space, a café and a restaurant. In just a few years, it’s become one of Manchester’s most cherished cultural venues and has a sparkling future ahead.
