This event presents the debut solo show from Manchester artist Edward Rex.
Edward's work addresses the reality of depression, death, solitude and threat. He describes his work as 'images [which] appear and disappear, searchlights shooting from overwhelming voids, vanishing points into nihility and flickers of connection on a dying monitor'.
Edward will be joined by musician and songwriter Nev Cottee who, following his 2013 debut album Stations, will be offering a glimpse of his follow-up album Strange News from The Sun, again produced by Mason Neely and Carwyn Ellis (Colorama/Edwyn Collins) and inspired by artists such as Lee Hazlewood, Scott Walker and Spiritualized.
