Break out the glow sticks: a dance party for parents and their tiny ravers is here
Thought your partying days were over? Think again. The award-winning Big Fish Little Fish (BFLF) Family Rave has been throwing kid-friendly dance events in London to increasingly large crowds since 2013, and are quickly becoming popular in Australia. This November they're bringing their Animal Fantastical family rave to the mini ravers of Melbourne.
The first thing to know about BFLF is that it's a real-deal rave: the event will be held at CBD club Brown Alley and DJ Andy Van will be dropping serious club bangers (albeit at a much lower volume). The environment is designed to give big and little party animals an equally good time: there'll be bubbles, glitter, balloons and for the finale, a huge parachute dance (remember the fun you had with parachutes as a kid?). A chill area for babies and toddlers will be on hand, plus hot food, craft tables and face painting.
Animal Fantastical family rave is animal themed and fancy dress is highly encouraged.

We brought our 6 month old to the Under the Sea themed rave. Fantastic vibe as soon as you step through the door - the whole venue (La di da in the cbd) was completely kitted out and made kid-friendly. Lights, balloons, crafts, a chill out area and more importantly, sweet choones to rave to. A pretty good family event with a difference!
Been to the first two events and they are fantastic and really well thought out. Brilliant to see the kids all getting into the music and such a good vibe at the event. Loads for the kids to do including craft areas and toy areas.
We loved it and cannot recommend it highly enough
