If you're interested in wartime memorabilia or history then you can't go past the Soldiers Memorial Institute Military Museum. It holds a collection of wartime artefacts that have been donated or leased by local residents and organisations.
The museum has unfortunately been closed since late 2016 to undergo major renovations (including the construction of a exhibition space). It will reopen in 2018.
