If the idea of a pink-hued, Palm Springs-inspired eatery serving up classic brunch options with a side of Mimosas is your idea of heaven, welcome to the House of Lulu White. The vibe at this popular South Yarra establishment is fabulously fun – and the decor certainly reflects that, with a giant, neon-glowing pair of lips on the wall and plenty of lush plants dotted throughout both the indoor and outdoor spaces. Oh, and did we mention the palm tree-printed wallpaper? Like we said, total vibe.
And lucky for diners, the food and drink offerings are on the same level. The all-day menu is loaded with hit after delicious hit – think fried chicken waffles, French toast and smashed avo with pickled onions, capers and a poached egg on pumpkin and soy toast. All of which are washed down very nicely with one of Lulu White’s signature cocktails. While the Peach Sangria and Strawberry French Martini are undeniably tasty, the Lavendar Gimlet is a winner in our eyes.
Love a bottomless brunch? There are 90-minute and two-hour packages available that allow you to feast on selected menu items and all-you-can-drink bevvies. And for a limited time, Lulu White has teamed up with Ladybird Cakes for a bottomless high tea. You’ll be treated to three decadent tiers of goodies, including finger sandwiches, croissants, mini cupcakes and marshmallows. Now, where do we book?
