This Brighton bar is the culmination of Greg and Georgia Poliwodzinski's decades of hospitality service, and their real world affection for each other. The bar’s signature drink is the titular Mr and Mrs P cocktail, a vodka Martini-style drink made with white chocolate and passionfruit. Not all their cocktails list sweet – the Smokey Conolly blends Montelo Bros mezcal with vermouth and Aperol. On the beer front the bar has six taps that range from Coopers to Blue Moon and even their own special Mr P.’s lager. Prefer wine? Something from the 30-strong list should suit you.
In the kitchen Mr and Mrs P have chef Matthew Butcher (from Morris Jones and Co) whipping up charcuterie boards at the bar while you watch. For a light meal pick any two of the venue’s cheese and meat selections for $36.
