Do you run around like a headless chook on Christmas Eve trying to get all the presents sorted? Or are you one of the smug few who have everything wrapped up and under the tree by the first weekend in December?
Be one of the latter – and support local businesses to boot – at the Dumbo Feather Christmas Fete. The independent magazine is running a one-stop-shop on December 1 so you can get Christmas sorted.
There will be ceramics from Imagine Lovely, thought-provoking books and gifts from the School of Life, clothing from Farn, and jewellery and homewares from Peaches and Keen.
Children will be kept entertained at a flower crown-making workshop, and there will be plenty to eat, including a sausage sizzle (profits donated to local non-profit St Kilda Mums), Les Crepes de Mario, Eat Me Chutneys, Rooftop Honey and Red Rock Olives. And if all that shopping makes you thirsty, there will be coffee, as well as beer from Stone and Wood.
