Every one of us holds memories – some bitterly painful, some joyful – that are so powerful that we dare not share them with others. All of us except Ms CeCe Rockefeller; a wealthy, heartbroken recluse who is finally ready to invite the public to a recollection of her storied and startling past.
Making her long-awaited debut, CeCe will emerge from her bay window to perform a sparkling repertoire of songs that speak to youthful dreams, faded romance, wealth and glamour and the melancholy that remains.
CeCe (created and played by Christopher Fieldus, making his solo debut at the Butterfly Club) will sing live, pulling together a collection of songs by artists including Kylie Minogue, Goldfrapp, Lady Gaga, Annie Lennox and Miley Cyrus and backed by musical director Shanon D Whitelock on keys and Claire Abougelis on cello.
