This huge concert featuring a huge K-pop star is free for students

A massive pop concert is taking off at Sidney Myer Music Bowl in march and one of Korea's biggest pop stars is coming along to show off her famous pipes. Korean-American K-pop singer Ailee is has been dubbed Korea's Ariana Grande (her Whitney Houston covers are insane, look them up) and she's going to be joined on stage at Asia Pop Fest by Singaporean singer-songwriter Nathan Hartono, best known as Sing! China's first runner-up contestant.

The world's top virtual popstar, Japan's IA, is also part of the line-up. That's right, this popstar is a digital humanoid isn't an actual person. IA is a singing holographic vocaloid created by the Yamaha Corporation, who nevertheless is an actual pop sensation in Japan and fills out live stadium shows. Yes, the future is here, guys.

More international acts will be announced soon, but you'll definitely want to get tickets to this massive concert soon. Tickets are only $25 and if you're a student you get to go for free as part of the Lord Mayor's annual international student welcome.
