Time Out says

Head out east to feast on Melbourne's best produce and more

Some of Melbourne's most famous hospitality figures are heading to Eastland Shopping Centre for Melbourne Food And Wine Festival this March. You can expect a producers' market, tasting laneway, beer garden, and chef and wine master sessions.

Expect a 30-stall Producers Market where you can do your weekly grocery shop from Victorian food producers including Yarra Valley Pasta, Uncle’s Smallgoods from Dandenong, Jam Lady Jam from Healesville and Hardings Fine Foods from Coldstream.

Thirsty after all that shopping? The tasting laneway will include drops from Rob Dolan Wines, Coombe Farm Wines, Seville Estate, Soumah Wines and Melbourne Moonshine. You can also find barbecued meats and beer, as well as music from Woodlock and Mustered Courage.

Kids aren't forgotten, with the Little Garden Patch, a hands-on green space for them to work in the dirt and discover how fruits and veggies are grown. The team from Huxtaburger will also be running a Junior Burger Masterclass in how to create some of Melbourne's favourite burgers.

The real highlight is the cooking masterclasses by Melbourne's top chefs. Shane Delia (Maha, Biggie Smalls), David Moyle (Longsong) and Charlie Carrington (ATLAS) will be teaching some masterclasses, and Banjo Harris Plane (formerly Attica, now Bar Liberty) will offer wine tasting tips. Plus David Baker of Bakery Hill Distillery will offer a guided single-malt whisky tasting session.
