The bustling cultural hub of St Kilda is giving Melburnians yet another reason to head towards the bay. The Hummingbird – a new music venue located downstairs from the Newmarket Hotel – opens to the public on Wednesday May 2 with a ripper launch night.
Your MC for the night will be the hilariously sassy Bev Killick with a special performance from jazz songstress Alma Zygier and her band. Then DJ, event curator and ‘Boogie Beat Suite’ presenter on PBS, MzRizk, will be keeping the party going ‘til late.
