Singapore's Cure will come to South Yarra's Matilda 159 for one night only on August 19 for a collaborative, six-course dinner. Cure's Andrew Walsh has been a friend of Matilda's Scott Pickett for five years and together, they will bring their inventive approach towards cooking over coal and fire in an experience that will meld local produce with a modern, Singaporean approach.
Expect dishes like an onion custard topped with scallop and mushroom; Eugowra quail with red cabbage; Cure's famous take on the laksa; lamb tartare with bone marrow and potato flatbread; and a dessert using pandan, milk and honey.
There will only be 90 seats available for this event, with tickets priced at $163 a head inclusive of dinner, two cocktails and beer. Bookings are essential.
