Oktoberfest is coming to Melbourne's closest downhill ski alpine resort Mount Baw Baw this July. This two-day German-themed festival will provide all the classics like bratwurst, pretzels and glorious beer to slope-bound travellers this winter.
The beer will be supplied by local brewery Grand Ridge, while you can groove along to beats by a selection of DJs and bands including Hofbrass. The celebrations will be part of Baw Baw's enticing winter season.
Need a lift to the mountains? There will be a vintage steam train heading from Melbourne through the Gippsland hills to Mt Baw Baw.
So whip out the lederhosen and get ready to clink your glasses on Saturday July 28 and Sunday July 29.
