Time Out says

A cacophony of bagpipes, African percussion and macarenas at Australia’s largest cultural parade

Once a year, Pako – slang for Pakington Street, Geelong’s main strip – becomes the site of one of Australia’s largest cultural parades, attracting more than 90 floats created by dozens of diverse communities.

And that’s just the beginning: at this festival of multiculturalism, nine separate stages host performances and workshops, while more than 45 ethnicities are represented on the food stall front.
