Pan-fried, steamed or soupy – try the best of them at our dumpling degustation at Secret Kitchen
From market price live seafood to yum cha and an à la carte menu that’s thicker than a young adult novel, Secret Kitchen know how to put on a good spread. And because nothing says ‘party’ like a bowl full’a dumplings, we’ve decided to highlight them in the first ever Secret Kitchen Dumpling Degustation.
On Tuesday November 21, Time Out will be teaming up with Secret Kitchen for an epic dumpling degustation. Guests will be treated to a Moutai Black Crow cocktail on arrival – a punchy mix of Moutai Prince, stout, agave, sparkling wine and sesame – before digging into a range of Secret Kitchen’s best morsels of meat and veg.
We’ll kick off with wonton dumpling soup, black truffle and red rice prawn dumplings and steamed and pan-fried Shanghai pork dumplings and some veggie options too. There’ll be scallop dumplings and Szechuan spicy siu mai dumplings too which you can wash down with some stir-fry Chinese seasonal greens. Save room for dessert as there’ll be mango mochi for everyone.
