Join Myf Warhurst in discussion with Carrie Brownstein covering everything from punk to Portlandia
Before she captured the attention of another whole generation with Portlandia (the kooky US sketch comedy she stars in with Fred Armisen), Carrie Brownstein was one third of riot grrrrl outfit Sleater-Kinney. The reformed band hits town shortly and Brownstein is taking some time out of touring to muse on rock and roll, her recent autobiography Hunger Makes Me a Modern Girl and sticking it up the patriarchy. She'll be in conversation with radio and TV personality Myf Warhust, courtesy of our mates the Wheeler Centre. Given that both women are ridiculously knowledgeable when it comes to music as well as ridiculously hilarious, we see no reason not to bank on this being a fantastic evening.
