Juniper lovers of Melbourne, rejoice! After the huge success of the autumn gin market and the Christmas gin market, Melbourne distillery Craft and Co is holding a pop-up market stall on World Gin Day, June 8.
Craft and Co is offering free tastings of its entire gin range, including the Gingerbread Gin, a special infusion made from ginger root, nutmeg, cinnamon and tonka beans that tastes like Christmas in a glass. You can also buy a bottle or two of that one or any of Craft and Co's gins to take home on the day – there will be cellar door discounts to encourage you to stock your bar for the winter months. Gin cocktails will also be on offer along, with tastings of Craft and Co's famous gin cheese.
Is World Gin Day a real holiday? Who cares? We are always up for an excuse to settle back with a gin-based cocktail – or even a nip of the good stuff neat.
