Residencies bring writers, poets, playwrights, and other creative professionals to the museum galleries, where they work on projects in public view. Music producer IMAKEMADBEATS our second Artist@Work resident, will be at the Brooks the first two weeks of November.

Enigmatic music producer IMAKEMADBEATS has built his reputation on an obsessive dedication to his craft. Hailing from a musical family with roots in Memphis and Orlando, Florida, he engineered and produced projects at Quad Studios in New York before returning to Memphis where he runs his own Dirty Socks Studio and the Unapologetic label. You can find IMAKEMADBEATS’ imprint on commercials ranging from DC Shoes to Samsung and hear his music in several TV shows, including True Life and Jersey Shore.
