Viola Concerto in C Major by Johann Sebastian Bach, arranged by Marshall Fine Elegy for Viola, String Quartet, and String Orchestra by Herbert Howells Nocturnes for Orchestra by Claude Debussy Robert Jackson (1963-2013) was a member of the GSO from 1995 until 2013 at the time of his death. He served as Principal Violist and Equipment Manager for many years. Rob was known for his passion and love of music, his dedication to the GSO (including his service as a volunteer whenever there was a need or call to action), and for his humor as well. This special performance featuring Memphis Symphony Orchestra violist Michelle Pellay-Walker is dedicated in loving memory of our friend and fellow musician, Rob Jackson.
