Time Out says

Michael Beltran may have named his eatery after his grandparents’ restaurant in Pinar del Río, Cuba, but what happens in the kitchen at Coconut Grove’s Ariete is a reflection of Miami: Cuban-inspired, American-influenced cooking concocted in the 305. Only at Time Out Market Miami, Leña by Ariete is an extension of Beltran’s culinary M.O., turning the familiar into something fresh and unexpected (and even a little weird). The grill-centric concept doles out wood-fired meats and seasonal vegetables and dabbles in Cuban grab-and-go staples with help from Ariete sous chef Giovanni Fesser, a.k.a. Pastelito Papi. One bite of Fesser’s PB&J pastelito, and you’ll never look at a Cuban pastry the same way again.
