Art collector Mitchell “Micky” Wolfson Jr. has a mantra: “What man makes, makes man.” Thus, what Wolfson collects, collects him. Delve into the spoils of his joyful hoarding with “A Universe of Things: Micky Wolfson Collects,” held at his namesake museum Wolfsonian-FIU. The show comprises 100 objects that were gathered by Wolfson over the past decades, including the first piece that he ever purchased (Samuel Coleridge’s The Rime of the Ancient Mariner, at age 12), sexually explicit Bibles (yes, they’re a thing) and hotel-room keys he’s pocketed.
