An Evening of Premiere Ballets

If you didn’t already know it, Miami is kind of a big deal in the ballet world. This summer, Miami’s own Dimensions Dance Theatre—hailed by The New York Times as “athletic, energetic, and sexy”—turns up the heat with an all-new program bookended by two must-see world premiere ballets: “Bolero” by Yanis Pikieris, inspired by French composer Maurice Ravel’s famous work of the same name, and “Equus” by Ariel Rose, set to the intense string compositions of Philip Glass.
