Black Market Presents the 27th Annual Shelley Novak Awards

Las Rosas’ nighttime alternative flea market brings together more than 20 of the city’s many talented and diverse artisans and designers peddling everything from vinyl records and vintage clothes to handmade jewelry, zines and edibles. The free event also boasts a stacked music lineup of local and out-of-town talent plus drag performances and food trucks. For this month’s edition, the Shelley Novak Awards returns honoring the very best in Miami’s lively drag scene. Considered one of the pioneers of Miami drag, Shelley herself has been walking the streets of Ocean Drive since the early ’90s and once again hosts and performs at this zany and heartfelt awards show.
