Soviet Russia may be remembered for its breadlines and its uncompromising aesthetic, but at the outset of the 1917 Russian Revolution, its visual art was intriguingly experimental. In this exhibition, more than 50 propaganda posters by avant-garde artists are on display, giving a glimpse at the disbanded nation’s true whimsical side.
