Time Out says

A world premiere about a Cuban expatriate in Miami, Augusto Federico Amador’s play is set in a nursing home in 1984—four years after the Mariel Boatlift—where a man on his deathbed claims to have been Cuba’s last famous drag queen. The juiciest bit? He embarked on a torrid affair with Che Guevara. These and other salacious revelations spark a connection to his African-American nurse.
