Miami City Ballet and New World Symphony Special Collaboration

This double-hitter of performance arts boasts two nights curated by New World Symphony Artistic Director Michael Tilson Thomas and Miami City Ballet Artistic Director Lourdes Lopez, who pay homage to their personal connections to Igor Stravinsky and George Balanchine, one of the most prolific artistic pairings of the 20th century. The program on both evenings features three distinct and iconic pieces accompanied by immersive visuals by video artist Emily Eckstein. The February 1 performance at the New World Center can also be enjoyed for free via a live-streamed Wallcast at the adjacent SoundScape Park.
