Experimental electronic duo Telefon Tel Aviv formed in New Orleans in 1999 when high school friends Joshua Eustis and Charles Cooper came together to create their own international melting pot of a genre that fused hip-hop and soul with electronic beats. Backed by a 2016 reissue of their original album by coveted avant-garde electronic label Ghostly International, Telefon Tel Aviv has been touring alongside other acclaimed electronic acts like Moderat and makes a stop at Floyd Miami this Saturday.
