Local champion of the arts and philanthropy Micky Wolfson is turning 80, and the Wolfsonian founder and collector extraordinaire is celebrating the occasion the best way he knows how: by hosting an epic block party and opening his South Beach art museum to the community—all completely free of charge. Head over to 10th Street between Washington and Collins to enjoy a rousing performance by the FIU marching band followed up with an outdoor concert by the innovative orchestral group Nu Deco Ensemble. Balance out that giant hit of culture with plenty of booze and food for purchase from local trucks including King of Racks, Wonton on Wheels and Ms. Cheezious.
