How do we build and maintain liberatory spaces? Or, how do we avoid settling into a remodeled version of exclusionary modes of cultural production and valuation, so that the spaces we occupy continually insist on inquiring as to “which bodies aren’t present,” “how power is divided,” and “who has access?” We’ll be using these questions and others to frame our readings and conversation.

Audience members are encouraged to show up ready to talk back, but are also invited to sit, listen and consider.
