- Body Lines: Artist Camille Gage and poet Lisa Brimmer have created a temporary tattoo poem for MPLS: Write Now. Stop by their booth to help them “deconstruct’ the lyrical work by getting one line of the poem written on your body with a temporary tattoo.
- Call Any Vegetable! (In honor of the Midwest Produce Conference and Expo) Inspired by Frank Zappa’s unforgettable ode to produce; come and create a zany poem to honor your favorite veggie! (Call Any Vegetable, by Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention)
- Powderhorn Kitchen will be leading a series of demonstrations on how to use native plants to make medicine. Jess Hirsch will be leading demos on oxy-mels, flower essences, and tinctures, while Ginny Sims will teach about salves, oil infusions, and her special connection with thieves oil.
