About Love & Friendship

Celebrated for his wry and comedic investigations of social mores and manners, director Whit Stillman presents his newest feature, Love & Friendship, which lends his characteristic insight to an adaptation of Jane Austen’s Lady Susan. The Sundance favorite reunites Kate Beckinsale and Chloë Sevigny, who previously co-starred in Stillman’s The Last Days of Disco, as the duplicitous Lady Susan Vernon and her American confidante. Seeking financial security and social advancement, the recently widowed woman plots to make good romantic matches for herself and her daughter. 2016, DCP, 92 minutes.
