Free Screening Of Virtual Reality: The New Frontier says
Step into a new immersive medium when you visit Virtual Reality: The New Frontier, an exhibition on the Garden Terrace featuring an international selection of independent virtual reality works. The lineup includes works that played at the 2016 Sundance Film Festival’s New Frontier, plus specially selected pieces simRvR, Let’s Go Crazy, and Black Lives Matter MPLS by local Minnesota artists.

There will be a limited number of Samsung phones and Gear VR with experiences ready to view. Visitors will also be given an official Sundance Institute New Frontier 10th Anniversary limited artist edition Google Cardboard designed by New Frontier Story Lab fellow, Yung JAke. This cardboard VR viewer allows users to experience VR on their own smartphones.
