IPR Camp for Creative souls – those who love music, technology, art, sound, the perfect event, and more!
IPR Summer Camp invites students from grades 10-12 to spend a week working hands-on with industry standard gear and software in professional studios, venues, and production labs. Each student will work individually and in a team on a project with experienced professionals that provide informal mentoring and practical knowledge. On Friday, all the camps attendees will present a finale event which is open to family and friends where they will see and hear completed projects.

Choose option A, B, or C. Or, you can combine Camps A and B for a full day experience.

A. The Audio Production & Engineering option: July 6-10, 2015 $300
9:00-12:30, Finale performance Friday, July 10 at 1:00 p.m.
This option will highlight skills developed in IPR’s Audio Production and Engineering degree program and is right for those Interested in producing, recording and mixing music.

Pre-production Editing and mixing
Basic song arrangement Pro Tools
Recording and overdubbing

B. Show Promotion and Production option: July 6-10, 2015 $300
1:00-4:30, Finale performance Friday, July 10 at 1:00 p.m.

This option will highlight skills developed in IPR’s Music & Entertainment Business and Live Sound and Show Production degree programs and is right for those interested in discovering how to promote, produce and execute a live musical event.

Stage plot and input list
Basic lighting demonstration

C. The Creative Production Workshop option: July 6-10, 2015 $400
9:00-4:30, Finale performance Friday, July 10 at 1:00 p.m.
This option will highlight skills developed in IPR’s Sound Design for Visual Media, Digital Video Media Production and Interactive Media and Graphic Design degree programs and is right for those interested in a multidisciplinary approach. The goal will be to create “SNL” style fake advertisements. The projects will include hands-on work in sound, video and graphic design.
