Minnesota Essa Conversation With Commissioner Cassellius says
The Every Student Succeeds Act (ESSA) is the new federal legislation that will redefine how our schools will function, replacing No Child Left Behind. This legislation is born from the Civil Rights movement and the Elementary and Secondary Education Act. Come be a part of the modern movement for civil rights and lend your perspective to the conversation!

E4E is honored to host the Commissioner of Education, Dr. Brenda Cassellius. She will be sharing the ways that ESSA is different from its predecessor, how it might affect your classrooms, and wants feedback from you on how it should be implemented.

This is a once in a generation opportunity, so please come learn, process, and provide feedback on how ESSA will affect your classroom. Help redefine how the next generation of students will be supported and lend your voice to the conversation. The state's plan is due in March 2017, so there is limited time to give you input before the new systems will be finalized.
