Organizing Meeting To Elect New Teamster Leadership

While the Hoffa administration was giving up concessions, local Teamster leaders have been left to fight back on their own. In New York Local 804, Tim Sylvester took on employer demands for givebacks and won a $400 pension increase, 150 new full-time jobs and a grievance procedure reform. Now Teamsters across the country are uniting behind Tim as our candidate for General President. In the last Teamster election, the opposition candidates were divided. This time, we're building a united coalition, including local officers who supported Hoffa in the past. Meet Tim Sylvester and running mate Local 89 President Fred Zuckerman on Sunday May 31, and join the Teamsters United campaign to vote Hoffa out and rebuild union power!
