The Nashville Food Project says
Hey Nashville! Do you work downtown, or do you love to patron the Nashville Farmers' Market for lunch?

Join us Tuesday, Sept. 1 at the Grow Local Kitchen in the Market House of the Nashville Farmers' Market. We'll be cooking a hot, nourishing meal just as we do for the 1,000-plus people we serve through our programs each week.

The cost for this lunch is just $10, which goes directly back to The Nashville Food Project's programs that lift lives and work to alleviate hunger.

We will be serving from 11am -2pm, and we hope to see you there!

The menu, featuring produce grown in our gardens, includes:

Chicken pot pie with herb biscuit
or
Chicken sausage skillet with potatoes, onion and peppers

Either choice of entrees will be served with a garden salad of kale, tomatoes, peppers and cucumbers tossed with preserved lemon vinaigrette and a watermelon/blueberry salad.

Tea, lemonade and water also will be offered.
