The Gripsweats are a brand new, instrumental deep funk project, recorded and formed by Andrew Muller, influenced by all things that make you move & feel.

"One of the heaviest funk 45s of the year!" - Flea Market Funk

Fat Night started with four Florida natives looking to feed their appetite for funk music. After many late night sessions, what started off as a jam time turned into a finely tuned, soulful sound they could call their own. In 2013 they released their first 7-inch single, “Things You Do,” on Colemine Records (Monophonics, Orgone), which received high praise around the internet and quickly sold out. They are currently on tour in support of their new EP "Lazy Days" featuring the popular single "Sun Go Down."

"Nasty, filthy funk going down smooth as Cabernet. One minute we hear the
sound of Stevie Wonder, the next, the influence of D’Angelo." - Shows I Go To

“The vocal lines take you on a ride down the coast with the top out and a damn good cigar to burn… Fat Night’s ‘Lazy Days’ should go with you everywhere. It is fantastic for every occasion and will put you in the right mood every time.” - Vinyl Warhol

"Dedicated soul seekers, their live performances exude the electricity of their varied influences." - Orlando Weekly

"So much soul! ... Pure bliss!" - Access Hip Hop

"There is some serious soul coming out of America's Sunshine State." - Tin Man London

"... haunting, moody, and very compelling!" - Dusty Groove

"Once I finally got the record home I must have listened to it 15 or 20 times in a row, such was the hold it had on me." - Melting Pot
