Advertising
Time Out says
Tibetan monks visiting from the Drepung Gomang Monastery of Southern India will create the mandala over the five-day period, beginning with an opening ceremony on Wednesday, March 11th at 12:00pm.
At the closing ceremony the monks will perform a ritualistic ceremony of destroying the sand mandala they took five days to create, teaching the lesson of impermanence. Everyone who attends will be given his or her own piece of the mandala in the form of a bag of sand.
The public is invited to visit once or several times to observe the mandala as it unfolds - Daily, 10am - 5pm.
