Wet Paint

Wet Paint is a vibrant electro/funk duo that have been tearing shit up since day one. Conceived in the summer of 2012 in Montreal, Wet Paint have evolved their sound turning over many hit remixes including Frank Ocean, Purity Ring, the Black Keys, and more - they currently reside in Halifax, NS where they perform with live drums, electric guitar sax and contributing vocalists from time to time.

After a season of sharing the stage with some of their favourite acts including Gramatik, Lunice, Torro Torro and Viceroy, they're in the studio preparing their next release.

Smooth grooves and layered bass are first on the agenda at their live shows; with the recent addition of a live drums AND guitar to spice up the mix, it's only a matter of time before they're on the road to promote their newest releases set to drop in April, 2015.

Keep yr eyes peeled. Wet Paint is on the move.

William Carney (CARNEYVAL) is a 21-year-old electronic music producer who has been involved with music his entire life. He picked up drums and percussion as a kid in Virginia Beach and moved onto the keys as a self-taught teenager relying on YouTube tutorials. His piano and production skills continued evolving while as EDM gained momentum in the United States.

Listening to the works of Deadmau5, Wolfgang Gartner, Skrillex, Daft Punk, and the fellow young newcomers Porter Robinson and Madeon inspired William to upload remixes and originals on SoundCloud, where he receives recognition from worldwide blogs and labels.

William continues to record and produce music while attending Tulane University. New Orleans–rich in cultural diversity and the birthplace of jazz music–polished William’s sound to a fusion of electronic and funk. He released a full-length debut album featuring artists from all over titled Interstate Radio for free via his label: Carneyval Music. Six months later, he returned with the self-titled successor CARNEYVAL. Thanks to the support of the Carneyval family, William continues to produce daily and look forward to new opportunities.
