Gosling's Rum Event says
On March 24th, Palace Cafe will welcome Malcolm Gosling, seventh generation running the family rum business, as he hosts a Gosling's Rum Dinner.

The event begins with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres in the Black Duck Bar, and then moves to the windows overlooking Canal Street for dinner. Guests have the option to buy entrance to just the cocktail and hors d’oeuvre portion ($30), just the dinner ($75) or a combo of both for $100.

Sugarcane Skewered Shrimp Croquette with basil lime aioli

Wild Mushroom Bon Bon with tarragon crème fraiche

Pork & Housemade Bacon Pistachio Pâté with herb fougasse

Valdeón Blue Cheese with shaved guanciale and truffle vinaigrette

Dinner (7:30pm – ‘til)

apples, romanesco cauliflower and coriander

Paired with a Rum Swizzle

Second Course 
Fish Stew
coconut milk, mint and fried plantains

Paired with a Classic Daiquiri

Third Course 
Roasted Duck
beets, spinach, pearl onions, black pepper-ginger jus

Paired with a Dark & Stormy

Fourth Course
Rum Cake
mint syrup and crème anglaise
