NOCCA's Vocal Music division proudly presents an abridged version of the classic Handel opera, Rinaldo, on Thursday and Friday evening, January 28-29, at 7 PM on NOCCA's campus in Lupin Hall.

The work, a story of love, battle and redemption, is set at the time of the First Crusade and is loosely based on Torquato Tasso's epic poem Gerusalemme liberata (Jerusalem Delivered). In its three Acts, Rinaldo takes part in battles, fights for his love and overcomes evil in a magical realm.

This production's staging is being managed by the faculty and students in NOCCA's Theatre Design Department with original lighting, sets and costuming.
