Increasing efficiency and student satisfaction: Evolving your campus mail center into a business center
Campus mail centers must become modernized to serve today’s students. Florida A&M University recognized this and decided to increase efficiencies and service levels by evolving its mail center into a fully-functional business center. This enhanced the student experience by enabling them to accomplish multiple tasks (picking up mail, packages, printing documents) in one place. Additionally, FAMU implemented a new alert system that saves students’ valuable time so that they only come to get mail when they’re alerted something is waiting. They also reduced wait times during peak times for package pick-up from 20+ minutes to less than two.
