Synopsis:
The Prytania Theatre in New Orleans has been operating for over 100 years. Rene Brunet and his son Robert reopened the theatre after Landmark Theatres closed it in 1996. In 2005, Hurricane Katrina hit the Louisiana coast including the City of New Orleans, which caused damage to the theatre. Since then the Prytania has gone through many changes. This documentary presents the history and a tribute to Rene Brunet and his theatre with pictures and interviews, including Rene Brunet, Rose Kern (who passed away last week), Jack Steward, Wennie Schulz, Robert Brunet, Allan Hollis, and more.

SURVIVING FATHER TIME AND MOTHER NATURE was premiered at the Prytania Theatre's 100 year Anniversary Event on January 15, 2015.
