The National WWII Museum says
The National WWII Museum and the Southern Food and Beverage Museum will present an evening dedicated to WWII foodways at 6:00 p.m. March 16. Museum Curator Kim Guise will discuss wartime rationing, Victory Gardens, and the many ingenious ways Home Front cooks supported the war effort. Liz Williams, president and director of SoFAB, will demonstrate three recipes from wartime cookbooks in the Rouses Culinary Innovation Center by Jenn Air. Come early for a Happy Hour cocktail at Toups South, then get a taste of WWII cuisine!
