New York Theatre Ballet’s Uptown/Downtown/Dance

Catch a world premiere from choreographer Martin Lawrance as well as the world premiere of Painted Within by Zhong-Jing Fang. Edward Henkel’s 1986 ReVision gets an update with music by Edvard Grieg; Pam Tanowitz’s Short Memory is now accompanied by live music from Lou Harrison and Henry Cowell while her Light Moving is set to music by David Lang; and in Double Andante, 10 dancers perform a ballet with Beethoven’s "Sonata in D Major #15" played on piano.
