New York Philharmonic Celebrates Star Wars Day

Celebrate Star Wars Day (May the 4th…) with the New York Philharmonic this year. Fans who show up to the David Geffen Hall Box Office at 10am will get early access to tickets for the Star Wars Film Concert Series taking place September 15–October 7, 2017. Super fans who show up even earlier at 9:30am will be entered in a raffle to win a pair of free tickets to one of the concerts. Three winners will be announced at 10am. If that Chewbacca outfit has been wasting away in your closet, then dust that puppy off and trot to this event because the first 20 fans to arrive in costume will score official Star Wars swag. Star Wars characters, including R2D2, Kylo Ren and stormtroopers, and members of the New York Philharmonic brass section performing pieces for the films will entertain the crowd as they wait.
