Cinderella on Broadway
Calling all princess fans: Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella is coming to Broadway this winter for the first time (it was originally written for television and aired in 1957 starring Julie Andrews). Expect songs “In My Own Little Corner” and “Ten Minutes Ago,” as well as a few modern twists—after all, this version of the classic tale was imagined by playwright Douglas Carter Beane, the creative mind behind Broadway’s Xanadu and Sister Act. Popular Great White Way actress Laura Osnes (South Pacific, Anything Goes) plays the title role and we hear that princess parties will be offered in conjunction with the show. Ages 4 and up.
