This sprawling complex includes two theaters—one a 300-seater upstairs, the other a 100-seater underground. The downstairs space, with its giant copper-painted columns, feels rather like the lower deck on a battle cruiser. In late 2010, Vital Theater Company acquired the venue's lease to mount its long-running children's productions.
